Perhaps we could have a character relationship board, where we can post types of relationships, and have people apply to be them. You know what I'm talking about? Just a friendly suggestion.

This interests me. Please explain.
*kinda unrelated by related at the same time* what about having a board of simply relationships so others don't have to read it...but...there's still that freedom...

It's... er... a bit difficult to explain, but it seems so simple once you get it. This site has an example-- z6.invisionfree.com/Past_Tense/index.php?s=1ab1e20e32ab060c55945c568c8ad174&showforum=10So basically you list types of friends (Best, Good, Average, etc) then your enemies (Hatred, Rival, Annoyance), and your loves (Crush on Me, Crush on You, Future, Present, Past, Fling, etc). Then people come along and apply for what they want, like I would want to be Harry's best friend. So I'd fill out a form saying my name, year, and what I want to be, and make up a history of our friendship. But you might want to look at the example. 'Tis easier.

I like it because it gives you a chance to befriend a character without having to have a thousand posts with them. Also, it sorta opens up room for plots.
Just a suggestion, I don't really care.

Eh- the sites I went on with it seemed to be better, but again, I don't mind. It might be a bit hard explaining to newcomers.

One of the things I liked about this site was that it mentioned /not/ having immediate relationships. That seems like a good idea to me, just because then it's like real school... You never know for sure who likes you or who can't stand you. It's more interesting this way. ^^
